january roundup part two

january 2005

<----Back to Part One

Saturday, January 15th

On Saturday night we headed over to Jamie's 3rd Annual "Ball." (He lost one of his fellers to testicular cancer - "Yep, cancer o' them ol' testes" - a few years back and has since started throwing a party to celebrate the fact that he's alive and to raise money for cancer research.

Here's me with the man of the hour.

And here are my balls (I've got two) posing with 16 year old Jamie cold-pimping in this high school portrait! Hahahah.

He got the jump on David Brent by fifteen years!

Candy, Matt, Meredith and other Matt (who's totally looking at Meredith boobies in her slutty booby shirt).

Not that I can't understand what it's like to be caught doing that. Hahaha.

So after several emails back and forth, we all finally got to meet big Nick S. who'd been reading my site for a few years. Upon first meeting the Fatty he even had the audacity to give Fatty the "get a load of this guy" face. Hahaha.

And speaking of people I've met through the site - Here's Eric George with Meredith and Nick's girlfriend.

Jamie's friend saw me braining (aka "putting my nuts on") the portrait of teen-Jamie and was like "Hey, take a picture of me braining Jamie!" He fished around in his zipper for a minute or two but in the end, he, um, lacked the balls.

This couple here was making out in the corner and we decided to all take some pics with her visible ass-cleavage.

Check out Fatty pulling his JFK Jr Face while the guy in the background starts to get wise to us ("I think they're taking pics of your asscrack.")

Hahahah.

Fatty and Meredith hit the crazy light-up color-changing dance floor to show off some moves.

This one gets the ladies every time.

Matt and Bev.

Almost 20 years later and he hardly looks any different! Hahahah.

Sunday, January 16th

On Sunday I loafed at Sarah's apartment.

Watched too much TV and then...

...headed out for a drink where we ran into Jake on a date with his new lady friend Erin.

We stepped into a bar and prompted ran into his recent ex-gf Jesse. Ah-ah-awkward!

Tuesday, January 18th

On Tuesday Sarah took Meredith, Amber, Josh and myself up to Times Square...

...to MTV's TRL studio so that we could watch The Killers perform on the show. (The Killers love Sarah. Remember when they played her prom? Jesus) Here's Meredith laughing while Amber looks down into the street at the hundreds of tweens baring the cold and holding sings proclaiming their recent love for the band.

Amber and Meredith couldn't help themselves either. Hahaha.

We watched from the back...

...but then pushed our way up to the front (little kids are so easy to push around! Ha!) when the band come on.

Here's Sarah and I in the front and I'm squatting down so that I look like a kid.

Tweens going nuts for their encore song.

Amber and me (air-cupping her boobie).

Thanks for taking us Sar!

Wednesday, January 19th

On Wednesday night I went to the Shindig party to see my friend Anthony's band, The Five O'Clock Heroes, play.

Sarah, me and Josh.

Karen representing on tha double-fist tip.

Anthony on the mic.

Sweet Hustler mag in the bathroom.

Greg and his lady friend.

Crowded smoky sweaty.

Upon request, Greg and Meredith gave me their "sexy faces." And then I asked for...

..their ugliest faces. Pretty, pretty, pretty, pret-ty good. Haha.

If anyone's ever wondered why Sarah puts on crazy eye make up, now you know: She's trying to draw your attention away from her magic floaty eye.

Then for no reason what-so-ever (ok, maybe for taking the floaty eye photo) Sarah bit me so hard that I still had this bite mark the next fucking morning. Ow!

Anthony, Mer and Karen <Overly-Posh English Accent>"Oh, for shame. You girls will be the death of me."<
/Overly-Posh English Accent>

Eric G, in the house boy-ee.

Meredith took a quick outdoor peebreak while I kept a lookout and then we headed over to Remote for some...

...Sid and Buddy Karaoke!

We even brought Jess H. and her little friend along with us.

And we ran into troublemaker Caitlin Crisco!

Matt L.

This is how I do on the dance floor.

Jake and Eric discuss the merits of different types of hot-curlers.

Jessica - clearly seen here about to pay me for snuggling her boobs.

Jake, Mer and Jess' mouth.

Shots are always a bad idea.

Sure they might lead to make out. But they sometimes also lead to bed wetting.

Saturday, January 22nd

January of 2005 was cold as a motherfucka.

Meredith and I met up with Emily at Clinton Street Bakery for some tasty brunch and I was still so chilly inside that I actually went so far as to...

...borrow Emily's hat (and anyone who knows me know how much I HATE hats!).

Meredith and her biscuit with egg, cheese and tomato jam *drool*.

Afterwards we went over to Sarah's to log some couch time with the couchcrew. Adam, Sarah, Jordan Silver and Iforgetyourname.

Meredith looking cute.

Saturday night we hit Misshapes and I danced so much (hey, remember when there actually used to be room to dance there?) that I forgot to take any pictures.

Sunday, January 23rd

On Sunday I braved the cold for brunch with the Grizz and David Kreitman (DeeKayEnWhy) and our old diner standby - The Midnight Cafe.

On the way home, I stopped at K-Mart and picked myself up these sweet-ass silk-lined Japanese house shoes for $6!

They're so snazzy and shiny that I've been threatening to wear them with a suit and walk around outside the house with them on!

Sarah (in a rare appearance at someone else's apartment!) come over to Meredith's to admire my new slippers and watch a movie. We cranked up the heat in Mer's apartment and I slipped away to pick up some Sparks and then..

...slip into something more comfortable.

Meredith took some "casual" pics of me lounging in front of my computer in my sweet lounging-robe and new slippers.

This one's my favorite because if you look closely you'll notice...

...the video on my computer is of a totally hot girl trying to get her yob around some dude's ridiculously enormous table-leg of a cock. Hahahah.

Why's Connor Oberst gotta always be biting Michael's steeze, yo?

Monday, January 24th

On Monday night I met up with Grant and Fatty for some tasty Thai and some...

...stupid photos of us putting spoons in our eyes and talking like robots. (WTF?).

Then we had a contest to see who could hold two spoons with their eyes for the longest amount of time. I won. (Actually, as of this writing, a year later, I still haven't let them go. Which is why this site is so far behind.)

After dinner we picked up a Duraflame log so that we could try out the fireplace in Fatty's apartment! It wasn't working when he moved in, but he dropped a chunk of change to have it cleaned and repaired and he was finally ready for his inaugural fire. While we weren't paying attention he made the rookie mistake of unwrapping the log from the wrapper.

Fatty put it back in the back, rolled it up and lit it. No harm done!

Grant, who'd been the biggest proponent for Fatty getting the fireplace operational ("Just imagine the S'more we'll be able to make!") give this double thumbs up.

Tuesday, January 25th

Tuesday night I went over to Number 1 Chinese (now called China One) to check out Sid and Buddy's new karaoke party that they called to tell me had somehow become a favorite hangout for "slutty models." Hahah.

So they've got that going for them.

Andrew Krauss on the mic.

Wednesday, January 26th

On Wednesday morning Grant came over to Meredith's to show off his new thermal undies and say goodbye. The next day, he and Jake were leaving for a five day all expenses paid press junket trip to Finland and Lapland! (A few days after they left, I flew into Estonia and we all met up in Helsinki to kick off a trip through Europe).

After I bid Grant farewell (and after I'd finished admiring his undies) I hopped a train out to New Jersey to my parent's house to wish my dad a happy 58th (Holy crap!) birthday!

The red icing my mom bought turned out looking too much like ketchup on the brown cake-icing! She started to fix it with some errant orange icing she had that came out looking like Cheez Whiz and that's when she decided to leave well enough alone.

The birthday boy with his cake!

Because January was so cold I'd been wearing a rabbit-fur hat that had been giving to me by Jessica D. to help brave the Syracuse winters way back in '96. For whatever reason, I took pics of lots of people trying it on and making faces. More on that later.

I got back into town and met up with Sarah and Josh over at Pianos for something!

PS - Josh totally almost stole my Japanese slippers with a suit idea.

I think it might have been Jenny's birthday, but I'm not sure. Happy (maybe) birthday, Jenny!

Jenny and Sarah with the hat.

After Piano's we headed over to Remote for some karaoke.

Marjorie didn't need to borrow my hat cause she had her very own!

Ellen Stagg makes my heart skip a beat when she screams Metallica.

Thursday, January 27th

How cold was January?

So cold that I'd taken to wearing my black thermals that I'd bought for my upcoming trip to Estonia, Finland, Germany and Hungary under my clothes while walking around in NYC.

All snuggled up in my new undies I walked to Ross Martin's new office (he's a big shot at MTV's new MTVu channel) so we could have lunch!

Ross is so important these day that he even has this private TEA REFRIDGERATOR in his office!

This pile of snow was so tired from walking around impersonating a Klansmans hood all day that it just had to take a seat.

Thursday night I hung out with Rachael and she loved my hat.

Friday, January 28th

Friday was my last night in town before my trip and I went to some party the Misshapes were DJing at Rafifi to say goodbye to the Tinny.

Hahaha. Vegans LOVE wearing fur.

I ran into Amy later on. And she was even happier than Leigh to wear it.

I headed back to Meredith's and settled in to finish packing for my trip! Yay!
